Edit: as a side story, I took the finest crew boat from Grimsby to my vessel in the Wash.
They gave me shit about handing my bags before putting safety shoes, gave a lecture about H&S with clear undertones that us forins have no idea.
It took about 1 hour to reach the anchorage, enough time for the two radars and all three GPSs to fail.
We were navigating by IPad, Phone and my Garmin bicycle GPS in the end.
Thanks fuck it was a clear day and calm seas.

The motorways were of large chipped pebbles, dangerous, full of holes and fucking tractors.
