This is a normal post it's got nothing to do with the UK, it's about the EU's relationship with Russia
Putin feeds on aggression as he's built his whole platform on aggressive 'Russia against the world' nationalism. In order to counter that sort of narrative you disrupt it by extending an offer of friendship, break the cycle of aggression or at least expose Putin as the primary aggressor perhaps emboldening opposition elements within Russia, because that's the only way he will fall. Expose his paranoia as false and Russia's enemies as potential friends

This is a normal post This seems
to be what they are doing.

Disarm with a smile because they have more guns and you cannot disarm with force.

Tough talk plays into Putin's hands.

The people who want tough talk want our government to play into the hands of Putin.

Why would someone who cares about the future of our country want our leaders to follow Putin's plans and directions?

I don't know, but they do.

Trump, Brexit, now these spies.

All Putin.

This is a normal post That I see.
But he has successfully destabilised the EU after their perceived meddling in Ukraine and the expansionism he sought to see off.

He's outclassed the west in Syria, has buggered the US. I am sure offing someone on UK soil was all about getting a predictable response from us so he can then win his election.

I am not sure at this point it matters what the EU does. The damage is done. Putin is a strategic master and we rowing in circles over Brexit, the US is in self destruct and the EU is contemplateing life without one of the two net contributors.

We'll all be eating borscht next week. Mark my words.
