It's the old tactic from when you were writing an essay at school
You'd start waffling and repeating the things you were saying in the essay in order to hit the minimum word count.
The problem being that a minimum word count merely encourages you to start waffling and repeating what you say.
Just like when you were writing an essay at school.

In addition to this
free lance scribes have been known to substitute or use a surrogate word for simple conjunctions. This technique - along with others such as repetition within the same sentence or plain rephrasing - has been known to extend and lengthen the word count of [ctrl shift g]
