contradictions are the bane of any logical argument. he has some interesting points but he's a bit hypocritical in his approach.

I was also going to point out the contradictions.
BUt I don't think it necessarily ruins his arguement - it just highlights the huge gulf between what should happen and what, in reality does happen. He's the very epitome of why things aren't the way he likes.
