The most suitable emotion for people like this is pity.

To find true happiness, you need to make as much sense of the world as you can. Wealth alone isn't a bad thing, but when you're trapped in a bubble where it defines you, you're heading for all sorts of trouble, very quickly.

But most of the YouTube nonsense ends up becoming 'viral' thanks to Facebook.
