you're right though - those things weren't Sega. I think they were by "Virtuality" at the time - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtuality_(gaming)

I remember going on one in London for £5 and it was a confusing mass of blurry polygons

Fuck Amigas, the Atari ST was miles better. All you've got is your blitter chip (which we got on the Falcon anyway) and we've got built in Midi plsu everything else you have.
