I like the look of this one but I just hope it's better than his last bag of pops (Land of...) and that recent steamer, 'The zombie diaries' which seemed to basically take George's idea, squeeze it into about 10 minutes worth of script and then get you to pay £15 for the biggest pile of zombie crap since 'Zombie Holocaust'.
I am, however, really looking forward to 'World War Z' as the book is amazing and the film will be getting a lot of Brad Pitt's money chucked at it

I'm just concerned that it'll get swamped in the influx of POV style horror films coming out soon. (Cloverfield, REC, Paranormal Activity...) Seems to be the trendy thing nowadays.
I thought Zombie Holocaust was not bad actually, if just for the propellor into the face scene. It was kinda stupid though.

I know what you mean - 'Oh aren't we so arty... wasn't the blair witch project such an amazing film' (crap)
I don't mind the old 'ho ho ho, he's fighting a shark' type ones or even the 'why the hell aren't you running away? he's shambling toward you and he's just eaten your husband' ones. I just think that the modern director dwells on the past glories too much. Although I really did enjoy the Dawn of the Dead re-make. More of those ones please.
Tom Savini should give up too. He's had his day
