That car IS mental. Earlier this year it went round Spa faster than an F1 car. Here it's just gone round the most challenging and feared circuit in the world nearly a full minute faster than anything else that's tried it. Granted there hasn't been an F1 car going round there in anger in 40 years, but the Porsche 956 it took the record from was no slouch either - it was a 240mph+ ground-effect monster. This thing annihilated it.

the best thing is that the tech boundaries these cars push eventually gets passed to normal road cars
unfortunately the mentalness gets stripped out
