I had to check it wasn't dubbed. Interesting accent, demeanor. Not really what I had pictured. I am trying to calculate what influence he had on the nation, given the frequent call backs to him in comedy.

But there's an excellent new film on him, a documentary, called Won't You Be My Neighbour. Like all good docs, it's about much more than its subject, but Rogers comes across as practically messianic (in a good way), which explains his influence. Worth a watch.

Spacey may be a wrong'un, maybe he isn't. I think it's definitely plausible, even I had heard the rumours, but we seem to have done away with the presumption of innocence before due process. That's by far the biggest tragedy of the post Weinstein fallout.

His story of being mugged and calling the police while out walking his dog in the early hours in a London park, except he'd left his dog at home, still makes me chuckle.
