A mix of music from 1913, this is the year of Hot Dance Ragtime which you've never heard of but which is a weird and brilliant thing, so come listen.
Since last time I posted something here I've made a new version of my earliest mix, because I found a load of other recordings and wasn't happy with the blog post. So, the new one is here - centuriesofsound.com/2019/04/17/1853-1860/ - and our new start date is 1853.
