Perhaps they'll do a semi reboot and ignore all the lukewarm ones, that's worked out so well for the Terminator franchise

I liked the bit where they introduced something new and thought provoking that changed my entire perspective on the story
instead of propping up some bullshit premises with ad-hoc explanations that didn't make any sense, raised more questions than they answered and generally shat all over my (over-optimistic, I conceded) hopes that someone with half an ounce of creativity had been brought back into the fold.
I also can't wait for Aliens 3, Taxi 3 and pretty much anything actually original that isn't written by a committee half-remembering a comic book series they heard about once.
