And I remember trying to play this with standard tuning, and failing. This is magnificent.

Ha, that's a bit like the story about the guitarist (I forget who)
who learnt to play by copying Les Paul's records without realising they were recorded at half speed.
Edit: come to think about it, it might have been Jimmy Page.
I listened to The Smiths last night while cooking and had forgotten that amongst the occasional bit of rough, there are many diamonds.
