Not as good as the New Scientist article about Lesbian Sheep though. (From a very, very long time ago)
Apparently it is impossible to investigate lesbianism in sheep, because the way female sheep attract a mate is to stand very still. So there might be lesbians, but all they will do is stand quite close to each other...

The quoted researcher was apparently Anne Perkins, working at the U.S. Sheep Experiment Station.
There's also a follow-up article in "Slate".
