Are the tone wheels the rotatory rheotomes referred to in the patent?
I noticed the patent also referred to an earlier patent, 558939 filed August 10th 1895. Couldn't find it in the uspto database.
Also lots of refrences to spark suppression, given it weighed several tonnes that must have made for an impressive sight and sound.
