I hope technology will ultimately reverse downward trends in biodiversity. Through genetic engineering, nanotechnology, robotics and AI, and ultimatelly by seeding the galaxy with new life.
We are the only mass extinction event in history that is aware that it's a mass extinction event. The comet that did for the dinosaurs didn't even know what a planet is. We've got this.
