Well, you needn't be using Ableton or whatever to fix the tempo and slice by beats/copy/move/copy/move/move, you could just use an audio editor and put markers at every beat by ear, set markers to regions, export all, then put them back together as region001+region004+region003+region002+region005+...
Shouldn't take you longer than 5 hours. Get to it.
