The canals around Greater Manchester are usually riddled with Canada Geese (when they've not fucked off for winter).
If they're on the towpath, they'll generally get out of my way when I'm cycling past, but I have to run the hissing, lunging gauntlet when they've got goslings...

yep, thats the place, near the hacienda/ great bridgewater lock or Rain bar. but i was on foot
