Altitude is helpful, but it's not as important as airspeed
Airspeed is what keeps the plane flying. Altitude gives you options in case of problems.
Airspeed but no altitude - OK. I can trade if I need to.
Altitude but no airspeed - I'm in trouble. I need to trade NOW.
