i like building plaggy models and i also like history...i thought i would combine the 2.
Finally moved all my half finished projects from the loft to the shed i built last Summer while furloughed.

I hate to tell you this, but
the German 'boot' is pronounced 'boat'.
Apart from that, a thoroughly enjoyable history lesson.

it's not quite the same as boat, our oa is more plosive, theirs more aspirated, but you're right it's a lot closer to boat than boot
I learned this by asking a hunnish mate if he'd seen Das Boot, and being corrected.
but as tusk said, it was a nice vid. hope you make some more
