As soon as it is online it will be well worth selling to the US, then apologising afterwards and a public inquiry (after the election).

It might be worth a lawsuit when you find your data used to promote or deny you services later on.

Lawsuits are usually for people with money*.
They are unlikely to admit that is why they are refusing services, the same way it is difficult to prove discrimination at job interviews.
*although I have beaten the DWP at tribunal.
