I thought they did well, got the characterisation and pacing down, and sat well with the teleplay, plus it's all just bloody bonkers which is an appropriate tone.
Good Omens was terrific too and cast superbly.
I'd say it bodes well, and a graphic novel serial must be a bit more straightforward to adapt than a novel, surely? Like, the storyboarding is all done for you..

Good omens was very entertaining
it looked like the cast had a lot of fun making it and it was very faithful to the book. If they'd not stuck so rigidly to the dialogue in the book it *could* have been better (what works well on the page of a book is less effective on the screen) but given Pratchett's death I think they made the right call. A very good tribute to the man.
American Gods is fucking mental and as much as I admire it, I can't really be bothered with it. It's just too bloody much - everyone chewing the sets every second of every scene. I may go back to it if things get too boring around here.
