I do like the historical context they put at the end, as if the whole thing was intended as a learning experience.
Speaking of which, here's a fun fact: After their loss at isandlwana, the brits formed a view that they wouldn't take prisoners. Consequently, they murdered an estimated 600 surrendered and wounded zulus after rorkes drift, including accounts from soldiers diaries of them throwing the wounded impis into graves and burying them alive. Didn't put that part in the movie
