This is a normal post something something bigoted woman

This is a normal post Why does Psaki keep on calling on Peter Doocy for questions?
Why does Fox continue sending him there in the first place?

This is a normal post It's part of a dance all leaders from the left do with Murdoch to a certain extent
They don't want his mouthpieces to be too hostile by exclusion, but ultimately they all get burned anyway, so I'm with you. Not that Fox need to do much anyway. The weird alt-right bubbles that they helped spawn are almost self-saucing without Fox's instigation these days. Biden makes a little aside to a moronic comment, and they're sharing it around the internet as some fatuous equivalence to Trump's near continuous stream of horseshit whilst president

This is a normal post Let's not get into left/right bollocks.
But it is gratifying to hear a world leader speak frankly now and then.

Oh, what I'd give to hear what HRH said when she first heard of that "work event".

This is a normal post “Moronic comment”
He asked a question, it wasn’t a comment, about how rising inflation would impact mid term elections. What an outrageous thing to say! Those alt right journalists with their inflation based conspiracy theories! Don’t they know this man is the President!

This is a normal post yeah, he should have won a pulitzer for that one, it was like frost/nixon. maybe next week he can ask if a frog's arse is watertight
The President's remark came as reporters were shouting questions while exiting the East Room.
Fox White House Correspondent Peter Doocy asked Biden, "Would you take a question on inflation ... ? Do you think inflation is a political liability in the midterms?"
"It's a great asset -- more inflation," Biden deadpanned. "What a stupid son of a bitch."

This is a normal post His performances at Q&A are increasingly heavy handedly stage managed.
It's almost as if they don't want a bad tempered, demented and senile geriatric taking questions he hasn't been extensively been prepped on immediately beforehand.

This is a normal post Trump told people to inject themselves with bleach
He's got some way to go before he's as bad as that

The fact the you think preparing for press conferences indicates some sort of weakness really speaks volumes
(, Tue 25 Jan 2022, 12:16, , Reply)
This is a normal post He's nowhere near as bad as Trump. That's the best thing that can be said about him.
When I say 'preparing' there is a huge difference between being briefed and being spoon fed lines to spout in order to conceal intellectual incapacity due to dementia. The fact that the left gleefully accused Trump of senility, even calling for him to be removed from office because of it, yet turns a blind eye to Biden's own obvious dementia really speaks volumes.

This is a normal post Better than a narcissistic, greedy, grifting wannabe dynasty.
Trump would LOVE to make himself king if he could; he already has a court at Mar-a-Lago.
He refuses to condemn the Jan 6th debacle, called covid a hoax, tacitly accepts qanon bullshit etc.
He even has his own taleban in the form of militias and hyper-religious gun nuts.
Biden (whom I know little about) at least has a track record in government and won't be a dictator.

This is a normal post I think the reality was hiding in plain sight
when you look at the interviews journalists like bob woodward did with the people (many of whom Trump hired) who dealt with him everyday as part of the running of a complex government, it was like dealing with a giant baby. and like a baby it was a matter of finding ways to emotionally manipulate him to either do what they wanted or stop him from doing some really stupid things. he wasn't this martinet that he liked to project, but a deeply incompetent, uncomprehending, emotionally infantile capricious man/baby, well out of his depth, surrounded by people who were almost universally shocked on discovering this, before wondering how the fuck they were going to deal with him and still do their jobs
(, Tue 25 Jan 2022, 13:24, , Reply)
This is a normal post I'd suggest that emotional neediness and sensitivity is part of the desire to be a martinet.
That insecurity and corresponding need for control of others can drive it. I don't believe he would be able to do it, but it would cause a lot of damage and deaths.
Other authoritarian types would take advantage (if they haven't already started).
(, Tue 25 Jan 2022, 14:01, , Reply)
This is a normal post fair points
it was more that his stupidity and how those around him were able to manipulate him didn't really get the attention the good journalism deserved, as I reckon by the time they were published people were pretty fatigued and had pigeon-holed him already in their minds

This is a normal post look, if you were simply making the point that biden is gaffe prone, like getting comments picked up by hot mic, I'd be inclined to agree with you
but it's this odd attempt to reframe it, first as somehow equivalent to Trump, now as evidence of dementia (a smear now taken as an article of faith in alt-right bubbles, like the stolen election and hilary brain cancer before it), when it's not really evidence of either. quite the opposite, it's a quick, funny, sarcastic riposte to a facile gotcha question.
(, Tue 25 Jan 2022, 12:54, , Reply)
This is a normal post I don't think you've watched as many videos on YouTube of Biden saying very strange stuff.
I'm not an alt right loon, despite what you say. However, regrettably, I have witnessed first hand, and continue to witness, geriatric descent into dementia. It's depressing, and it's irreversible, and it's what's happening here.
(, Tue 25 Jan 2022, 14:28, , Reply)
This is a normal post is it, Dr Prufrock?
That's your official diagnosis and you're in no way influenced by the fact that this smear, like the hilary has brain cancer, is one primarily bandied about in alt-right circles since the primaries.
I've had relatives with it, and worked with peak bodies to develop modules for clinicians to recognise it and manage it. I'm not suggesting I'm an expert, but part of it is understanding and synthesising the material experts have written into a course. Only about 5% of people will develop this autoimmune condition by the end of their seventies. Though all people will have measurable cognitive decline by the time the reach biden's age, and we all know Biden and Trump and most people in their mid 70s arent as sharp as they were in their 40s, but it's important not to confuse that decline with a specific condition. All I see is a huge amount of confirmation bias coming from alt-right circles already convinced, a-la the Hilary brain cancer, and almost none coming from the people who work with Biden. There's no general saying "I told Biden this and 20 minutes later he asked me exactly the same thing", the memory loss stuff that's one of the main features of dementia.
Biden is a lifelong stutterer, one who has to think and plan out his words before speaking so as not to trip over them, and this can get worse with old age and the fatigue that comes with it. I don't watch all his press conferences, I'm not a masochist, but I've seen him give long, articulate off-the-cuff town hall speeches with Q&A, something someone diagnosed with Alzheimer's would be pretty incapable of. Of course, there's always the possibility, as with anyone, that he's in some early pre-diagnosis phase. maybe he has brain cancer too. But I wouldn't listen to know-nothing alt-rights diagnosing him based on cherry-picking youtube vids. It's not like I like him, I thought Biden was a particularly uninspiring, if decent, status quo candidate well past his prime at a time the US needs a bit more than status quo, to say the least
{edit}found one of those town hall meetings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81bzoO9Qy9A&t=360s Biden must be one of those "good memory, long off-the-cuff articulate and coherent arguments" type of dementia sufferers...
