The folks in Brize don’t what’s going on at all.
They’re just the tankers and truckers. The RAF Elint assets fly out of Waddington.
Still, keeping a sentinel eye on your belligerent and unpredictable neighbour seems like a sensible plan to me. Keeping ADSB on so they can see you watching is even more so.
The truly interesting bit though is that for at least a week there has been a Swedish Elint aircraft patrolling NATO’s eastern frontier. That would have been unthinkable a year ago.

Yeah: Swedish, Italian, French and US Navy all testing their Elint. Do they all get the same results?
I took the Arma3 footage about "Mig 29 took down by c-ram..." for real. A bit too realistic for me.
