First in an ongoing series of adventures scripted by and for pre-schoolers and/or morons. The first episode was commissioned and scripted by my niece aged 3, and she names everything Fred at the moment, so...

Nice try. This is actually the work of Edvard Gustavsson a Norwegian experimental filmmaker and follower of Bunuel. It's a film about death of course. See how the gate is ajar for Fred - our everyman - ushering him into a transcendence of the world of concrete and weeds. He enters a liminal space before meeting the great seahorse, or God. Note the shoe around Fred's neck, symbolising man's mortal path which, for Fred, now is over. On some level, it's having a conversation with the Divine Comedy, and Part 2 will no doubt follow Paradiso lines.
