I think even the tory membership
is starting to look at the value of their investments, the cost of buying anything (Barbara, I don't think we're going to be able to buy a new Mercedes SUV this year any more) and wondering if giving all this money to hedge fund managers was such a great idea.

meh, my best performing pension pot is pretty much the same value it was at the beginning of August, and still up over 20% from Dec 2019
Markets might have tanked but it's a great time to be investing.

and I'm ecstatic about base rate going up, I just got a huge new mortgage on a five year fix, the rate's currently only 3 bps over base
