The BBC story late last night was kind of misleading, it pretty much implied that AI would govern decision making.
This now sounds more like a radio-controlled car for use against school shooters. I'd hoped Radio 4 were less hysterical than that, but apparently someone REALLY wanted an appropriate context to use up a bunch of 1987 Robocop audio clips they'd downloaded. Robocop, who is a cyborg not a robot. I suppose at least they didn't decide to go with The Terminator.
