you know that movie Lion, about the adopted indian who uses google earth to find the station of his childhood?
i've just wasted a good hour on google maps. After the plymouth debacle, I had to give some presentation on the way back but i'm fucked if I can remember the name of the place, or even whether it was devon or somerset. I just remember getting off the train, with light snow falling, and discovering the actual town was in the distance on the other side of a small valley with open fields. It was a cute market town, medium to small sized. no luck so far

it's also possible that the fields are now full of houses so the street view might not be much help
