Is the whole reason I take so much exception to the issue.
When I said: "I can't argue that certain controls on animal populations are deemed necessary in areas where we have encroached on their territory", I wasn't agreeing that fox culls are justified. I was simply stating that no matter how much certain groups may disagree with wildlife culls, as long as there is a demand for livestock, there will be a need for culls in order to satisfy that demand. Apparently that's all these redcoated fuckwits need to justify their hunts in the eyes of the law.
I also don't disagree that there are far to many brbs in this world who won't hesitate to protest against something that they are complicit in, like massive fucking hypocrites. However, I haven't eaten meat, eggs or dairy in about six or seven years, nor have I purchased any new items that contain animal derived products. I don't own a motor vehicle and the moment my partner (my long-term partner, not Tony's mum) accidentally got pregnant we arranged to be rid of it and I immediately booked a vasectomy.
So I think it's safe to say that as far as doing my part to protect and conserve the world around us, I'm doing more than most. And I think that more than qualifies me to call somebody a cunt for voicing their support for a bunch of other cunts riding around on horseback scaring wild animals half to death before ripping them limb from limb for some jollies, no?
