This is a normal post 80V would be the HT side, which is low current…
At least when compared to the heater circuits, which are a much lower voltage (usually around 3-6V I think) but suck a lot more current. 200A at 3V is only 600W

Besides, you’d never put a 40kW load on a domestic ring main in the UK without your mains wiring catching fire!

I’d be very surprised if the whole thing was over 6kW, or he’d have had to run a dedicated circuit for it… and that would have been mentioned!
