They were attempting to detain two violent suspects from two other incidents.
The first incident is a fight between passengers from Qatar Airways flight QR023, which arrived at 7.20pm. The fight may have taken place during the flight or afterwards in the T2 baggage hall - unclear atm.
The second incident is further violence involving members of the public in T2 Starbucks at approximately 8.22pm.
Police then locate the suspect and move to detain them. This is prefectly normal in an airport, they do not "ask nicely".
Thugs then kick off and attack all three officers with what can only be described as "feral rage".
Not that you care for logic or reason - you've shown us time and again that you simp for criminality.

Armed Police are trained to use their feet - they cannot risk losing their gun or tazer.
Not only did the guy's arm and hand land on the officer's side-arm, they then became obscured - others have suggsted a nearby dropped radio may have looked like a gun in the heat of the moment. Either way, it's entirely justified.
Your ignorance is astounding. Anyway, you carry on - I can't use reason with someone who did not use reason in the first place.

Kicking a *clearly* defenceless person multiple times in the head
is attempted murder for anyone not wearing a police uniform. Your cynicism is another fascistic tendency so thanks for indirectly answering my initial question. You appear to have an undue respect for uniformed thuggery and no genuine reply to any reasonable argument put to you. In fact you claim reason is on your side.
