I recall
he had no food for a long while except (IIRC) some canned pet food. Then he won some rice, but he had no way to cook it. So he put rice and water in a can on the radiator to 'sort of cook it a bit'.
He had to win a certain cash amount of prizes to win, and it took him months, but when he did it, they just took him to another place and told him he had to win an even larger amount because the show was so popular they didn't want it to stop.
