A lot of these so-called "innovators" or "disruptors" seem to fit a certain mold—clean-cut, polished, sometimes a little too “perfect” in a way that doesn’t necessarily scream "down for a pint." It's almost as if the image of being a "successful innovator" has come to mean being buttoned-up and overly serious.
But, of course, innovation doesn’t have a uniform look. Some of the most interesting people doing the real groundbreaking work often come across as quirky or a bit unconventional in their personal style.
