This is a normal post History corner -
About 20 years ago the first cases of magnetic deaths were being reported in medical press. There was nothing in the law to stop it.
It coincided with the discovery that previously trusted toy suppliers were swapping out the specified paint for Hot Wheels cars with cheaper paint containing lead.
The massive changes in product legislation that werecrolled out at that time are kind of what created my career.
Keep eating the magnets, kids - the Wizard needs a new robe and staff.

This is a normal post I have a theory that one of the reasons we seem to be getting progressively more stupid as a society is because toys are much safer than they used to be.
The kids that would have previousy expired from aspirating the contents of a Kinder Egg, or drinking the contents of their chemistry set are now growing up and bolstering their cognitively challenged genetic lineage by having 6 or 7 kids of their own.

We're interfering too much with natural selection.
