This is a link post Ordnance Survey map of Britain online
Since Bing no longer provides that layer, I've found out about this.

A couple of dedicated Linux-enthusiasts provide this (not-for-commercial-use) among other mapping services, so they can alt-OS while they alt-OS.

This is a normal post You could use NLS maps and set the background to OS and the historical overlay to 0 percent so it doesn't show

This is a normal post I was really enthusiastic about this
I loved using OS 1:50,000 maps and had the whole country downloaded via Limewire in the day. But now I realise that they are pretty shit for most things as I've got used to the far greater resolution of Google maps and the like - I'm a big fan of organicmaps.app/
