ACKCHERLY... The term is "geek". People are ignorant to this, and it's very silly. "Nerds" are the "fandoms" of fictional shit, like Star Trek etc or those little pieces of candy... They know every little detail about that sort of nonsense. Geeks are more technical, engineers and such, and know real things that matter that are often beyond the comprehension of the average Joe.
