Halloween 1960-1964 – Quivers Down The Backbone
I made this!
Another of my occasional Halloween mixes, this one is nearly two hours long and entirely from 1960-1964 (peak Halloween IMO)
Includes Johnny Kidd & The Pirates! The Kingston Trio! Bernard Hermann! John Leyton! Link Wray! The Monster Mash! Screaming Lord Sutch! Desmond Dekker! Bob Dylan! Yes Really!
I've also put up the previous four mixes here - centuriesofsound.com/2026/10/25/halloween-from-centuries-of-sound/ - that's nearly six hours for you.

Hope my poor photoshop skills on the cover image can show you this is guaranteed AI-free

Shall look forward to giving it a listen.
Though sad lack of Screamin' Jay Hawkins, who I'm now going to see if he released anything of note in that period.
edit: yes!
