Ok Saudi has a fucked up system, and its a bit shit that we tend to turn a blind eye to what its up to for military purposes etc.
What the fuck has that got to do with Islam in the UK? Sharia courts in this country don't work in paralel with our system, and Rowan Williams wasn't suggesting that back when silly season was on and the Sun and the Mail wanted a whipping boy.
Think of it as a mediator or somthing similar. Orthodox Jews have theyre system recognised by law, why not Islam.
Im not having Islam shoved down my throat, Christianity maybe, but not Islam. I'm an athiest, I think i can handle some one talking about Islam or what ever without somehow going crazy and actualy converting.
Sure there a fucks that have a weird out look on Islam, but theres trhe same in all religion.
This guy is a total cunt. saying "don't call me racist, im just saying it how it is" doesn't put the onus on me, if i think hes a bigoted angry little cunt with nothing better to do than stir things up, im entitled to that opinion, I won't how ever make a youtube video about it, or start a petition about it.
Why doesn't he make a petition asking to get rid of the Bishops in the house of lords. Or how about total reform of our legal system, because Zimbabwe's system is based on our, thats not particularly nice, so the problem must be in ours aswell.

You are so wrong
First, go and have a listen to his other videos; he is anti-religion, not anti-Islam. This happens to be the latest of his videos, that's all.
Second, the Sharia court issue is not like mediation. If the parties involved agree to it (and they may have little choice if they are female) then the decisions are binding. A recent case involved two women being gypped out of a good part of their inheritance (which the Sharia court awarded to male members of the family). They had little choice in the matter and now have no legal redress.
