
I was in Raleigh in December, and was introduced to 'biscuits'.
They use them for all kind of things, like replacement for bread or buns on a sandwich. Often with breakfast meals.
Not as sweet as a scone though. Just loose and doughy.
It's apparently a very southern food.

tim hortons (canada) do a rather delicious breakfast sandwich using these'biscuits' and they are great.
why the fuck can we not have a timmys in the uk.
