Why does that voice ring a bell?
Reminds me of the unemployed voiceover guy from Monkey Dust.

I have a PooTooth handsfree system in the car that has a voice recognition function in it, When it speaks to you to confirm / suggest / help / hinder you, that is the exact voice it uses. As it can read text messages too, you can get it to say anything you like, all with that same stilted delivery...
There is a voiceover bloke in the UK who sounds exactly like it, but without the disjointed electronic delivery. He ends up on a lot of the recorded messages I get when 'phoning companies. Instead of Hold Music, I get a message telling me about the other services they offer. Quite often there is a woman too, and it's always the same two, so maybe a husband and wife team..?
