This is a normal post I really really really really loathe the Black Eyed Peas
I heard this song on the radio the other day and I assumed it was some Belgian / Dutch europop summer holiday trash. Boom Boom Pow made me want to rip my ears off as well, but then its not a patch on My Humps.

Is Banana around? What do the Jewish references mean?

Basically, congratulations, to be said after finishing reading the torah at a bar/bat mitzvah or after a wedding ceremony etc (literally good stars i think) and cheers after drinking wine or summat like that (literally - to life).

This is a normal post Well, it's actually literally 'good luck' (mazal means luck, tov means good)
Stars are 'kochavim', the 'ch' being a guttral ch as in the Scottish 'loch'. But yes, colloquially it's entirely synonymous with congratulations.
