I found it quite disturbing, but I seem to be a sensitive soul of late.
Spumco was founded by John Kricfalusi, they are the guys responsible for Ren and Stimpy amongst other things. They did a mixture of kiddie and adult anomation according to wiki

I reckon at least one of the guys from there had a hand in this anim cos the style is so perfectly 'them'

that was why I was intrigued, not sure I can get away with watching dodgy anims at work though. I'll wait till I get home
