Their Apollo bikes are awful
The ones I've had have broken within 3-6 months of purchase, while my current bike, a basic £49 one from Toys R US, has lasted a year without incident!

A friend gave it to me two years after finding it in a skip.

My old bike was an apollo.
an apollo creed to be exact (this is complete truth)
lasted a good many years til i got hit by a car on it and it got sort of bent in half
