America currently is all about Health Insurance, and not every job includes a Healthcare Plan. Even then, you still have to pay a "Co-Pay" element for every trip, every drug, every op. So even if you have Healthcare insurance, you may still not be able to afford health care
I lived there for a year, so I can tell you that unless you have a family income of >$35k, you can't get health care. How much of America fall under this level, QUITE A LOT!
Basically, the Medium Class are whining about the fact that they have to pay out maybe $100 more Federal tax a year, to ensure better healthcare all around! Small price to pay to make your country an even better place all round!
