...but I think I'd like it more if the voice-over wasn't so distorted.

I agree.
I had the audio the way I wanted it, but it turned out to be much too long for the beginning of the video and the footage I had. I wasn't able to record the clip again as I was away from my mic, so made the speaking rate even quicker, which resulted in some bad artefacts.
I'll pay much more attention to the audio in future videos. Thanks for your comments.
