My little brother hates 3D
He says it scares him and gives him headaches. However he's still young and springy, so I'm sure if he's told enough times that he's meant to love feeling as if things in the foreground are blurrily close to him and things in the background aren't really meant to be seen at all then he'll politely sit and watch 3D films until his eyeballs squish into the right shape.

My five year old
is similar. He finds the whole in-your-face business too scary. He watches 3D stuff without the glasses, which can't be good for his eyes at all. I took him to the 2D Up and he loved it.
I work in the industry and I'm just hoping the 3D thing will fade and die like it did in the 70s/80s. I'm not hopeful, though. Hollywood has completely run out of ideas (even the remakes aren't working as well as they used to) and it's clutching at straws, of which 3D is the latest.
