Pikk
means cock in Norwegian, so saying "I'm off to pick up the kids" can lead to amusement...
edit: come to think of it, so does kukk (pronounced cook) so saying "I'll just cook this chicken, then I'll pick up the kids" could be doubly amusing... (though kukk and pikk are both nouns)
