
except that bands don't make any money from having their "original copy", whereas a farmer does. He can take that sheep and sell it, and get another sheep. Bands are reliant on selling their "copies".
Think of it like owning an apple tree, and having someone take the apples. You can grow more apples, because you still have the tree, but why the fuck should you?

On the other hand, why the heck shouldn't you? Fruit grows from trees naturally, and the only real work involved in in the harvesting. The people stealing the apples are doing that to. Owning a fruit tree is literally getting moneu for nothing, simply because you already have enough money to invest in these things.
This thing called the internet is amazing, because it's taking the power out of the hands of those with the money and putting it back into those with the skills and the talent. Now most people can do themselves what a record label did 20 years ago, and the record companies are stuggling to maintain their monopolies and power. They will lose in the end.
