Riggers are a mental lot.
I did a climbing course for my apprenticeship with a mobile phone network. In the uk all towers have anti fall system for the ladder part of a climb it looks like this. It moves one way along the rail and locks in the other direction. I didn't do the free climb course, at the top of a 40-50 meter tower I climbed, you wouldn't believe how much it moves at the top in just a slight breeze. Scetchy stuff.
