I'm afraid it's because youtube have failed to reach an agreement with GEMA, the german organisation that collects royalties for artists. This means they;ve pulled all music that is commercially available in germany, which sucks badly. I'm sure they'll come to an agreement at some point, but in the meantime they've just pulled the lot.
